VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Wiffle Ball World Series is set for Saturday, July 24th at Shane Roberts Field south of Valley City.
Trevor Christiansen, one of the co-founders talks about how this event got started back in 2013.
The opening ceremonies start with the National Anthem and a flag raising ceremony at 9am. Shane Roberts Field is located at 3578 Sheyenne Circle south of Valley City. Everyone is welcome to attend the Wiffle Ball World Series.
Christiansen said a free will concert will be held Friday, July 23rd in the City Light Supper Club parking lot. He said a shuttle from the Grace Free Lutheran Church parking lot will be available for rides to and from the concert Friday night.
The free will funds raised from the concert will go to the Sheyenne Valley Community Foundation.
