JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For more than 10 years, the Jamestown Fire Department has fired up the grills for some pancakes during Buffalo Days.
After a year hiatus due to COVID-19, Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther says they’ll be back behind the griddles for more pancake goodness.
Normally, firefighters sell tickets to the feed. Chief Reuther says as a way to thank the community for their support in the purchase of their new ladder truck, they decided to wave tickets and instead do the feed as a free-will donation.
In 2019, it was learned that the Jamestown Fire Department would need a new ladder truck. Now with the new truck secured and in use by the department, Chief Reuther says this will be a great time for the public to come see the ladder truck while being thanked for their unwavering support.
The feed will be held at the Jamestown City Fire Hall from 7 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, July 24th.
