WIMBLEDON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A celebration of community, welcoming in the surrounding area, and a good time.
All three of these are accomplished with the annual Wimbledon Palooza, which starts tonight and runs through Saturday in Wimbledon. Organizer Jessie Albrecht says the small community in Barnes County has a lot of offer.
The community bash begins tonight with Steak Night at CM’s Place followed by a concert featuring Church of Cash, a Johnny Cash Tribute band.
Friday’s festivities will see kids blowup games, softball tournament, cornhole tournament, and a concert by Tripwire. Saturday will feature a parade, 5K, continued cornhole and softball tournament, co-ed volleyball tournament, and end with a concert by Powerglide & Matt Aakre and the Dirty Little Secret.
Albrecht says they will also offer rides from Jamestown and Valley City. For more information, you can like their Facebook Page Wimbledon Palooza or call Jessie Albrecht at 701-659-3531.
