VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Anthony Varrasso is our newest on-air personality in Valley City.

In addition to his on-air duties on KOVC 1490 AM, KDDR 1220 AM and The Raven 103.1 FM, he will also join the sales department.

Varrasso graduated from Curry College in May 2015 (located in Milton, MA just outside of Boston) Studied Communications. He also hosted his own sports talk show at the College’s radio station and was a play-by-play broadcaster for their hockey, football, and women’s soccer teams.

Varrasso is a native of Whitman, MA (30 minutes south of Boston.)

Prior to his arrival in Valley City, he worked as a Production Assistant at WMEX (News Radio) and most recently was a Sports Producer at WCVB-TV in Boston MA. He also was an acting reporter during the week and conducted interviews with professional athletes and coaches in Boston.

He talked about his hobbies: “I’m a big runner, love going to the gym, playing hockey and baseball. Anything active and being outside. I’m a big Philadelphia sports fan (Philadelphia Flyers are my number 1 sports team) however I do like the Patriots as well. I also enjoy being around my family (Dad, Mom, Brother and Sister) and getting lunches with my dad and brother on the weekends. I also have 2 German Shepherd’s, Sadie and Sloan.
