JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – BIO Girls was founded as a program to help improve the self esteem of adolescent girls through empowerment of self and service to others.
Site Director Cathleen O’Higgins says they do this through multiple ways in Jamestown.
O’Higgins says they normally hold one session a year, but due to some generous donors and sponsors, they’re able to open a limited session this year to girls in grades 4-6 for a rare fall session.
And O’Higgins says for 2021, they were able to implement a “pay as you can” model for the program.
Those who are interested can register by July 16th at biogirls.org. If you have questions, you can contact BIO Girls Jamestown on Facebook for more information.
