JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown is known as the unofficial Motorsports Capital of North Dakota and Brian Kamlitz wants to keep it that way.
On July 9th & 10th, the first ever North Dakota Outlaw Fest will be held just west of Jamestown with a variety of different classes and drivers from around the US.
The event will feature Grudge Racing on Friday night with Street Tire, Small Tire, Big Tire, and Jr drags on Saturday. Kamlitz says he’s received some entries from North Dakota and different states already.
Kamlitz says they’ll utilize a private airstrip roughly 18 miles west of Jamestown and then south of I-94. Participants and spectators can take Exit 248 to get on County Rd. 65, then turn right on 40th Street.
Cost for spectators is $10 for Friday and $10 for Saturday with two-day passes available. Ages 12 and under get in free.
Kamlitz says they’ll also have custom made trophies out of 12 gauge steel.
