JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center has been in operation at their current location for the past 10 years in 2021.

A golf tournament originally created to help support building the new hospital is now being used to help expand their services. JRMC Foundation Director Lisa Jackson says Golf “FORE” Good will be entering its 11th year this summer.

With the JRMC established, Jackson says they turned their attention towards expanding care. More specifically, the new Cancer Center.

Marketing Manager Katie Ryan-Anderson says in two years, the Cancer Center has eliminated thousands of miles of travel for families in the region.

Jackson says on Friday, July 11th, everyone gets together at the Jamestown Country Club to raise money and support critical services and fund the JRMC Cancer Center. The day will begin with a small presentation on what the tournament and community has done for the JRMC.

Players will have the option to make additional donations, bid on virtual auction items or purchase raffle tickets on the course. The cost is $150 per player and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, logo golf polo if registered by July 1st, score healer package, boxed lunch, post-play social, games & prizes, and a team photo.

Ryan-Anderson added that there will also be free injury screenings provided by the JRMC Orthopedics & Sport Medicine team. She stated the event is also a chance for them to say “thank you.”
