JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Elks Lodge #995 of Jamestown was presented a banner as testament to the support of their members and contribution made to the community.
In a letter sent to the local lodge, North Dakota Elks Association President Tracy Leopold reports that dollars and hours donated by the Jamestown Elks Lodge were averaged and it was determined that over $5 million has been donated and raised locally.
“It is important to record our charitable works numbers each year as it does make a difference over the long run as well as educating the public about what we do,” he states in the letter. “Congratulations on your 116 years of helping your community and making it a better place to live.”
The club congratulated the public, members, and others for helping them reach the milestone.
“Without our dedicated, passionate and motivated members to make a difference, this wouldn’t be possible,” the club stated. “Together we make a difference.”
