JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Newsdakota.com) The Blues never trailed Tuesday afternoon as they defeat Carrington Post 25 11-4 at Jack Brown and hand Post 25 their first loss of the season. Carrington Post 25 drops to 4-1 overall and 4-1 in District 4, Jamestown Blues improve to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in district 4.
The Blues scored four runs in the third inning and never looked back, they had 15 hits as well. Lead-off batter Tyson Jorissen was 3-for-4 with a single, two doubles and four RBI. Ashton Stockert picks up the victory, working four innings, 84 pitches, four earned runs, three strikeouts, four hits and two walks. Hudson Schmitz suffers the loss, working five innings, seven runs, two k’s. Schmitz had two hits for Post 25.
Next up for Carrington will be Monday at Steele, KDAK will have the game at 1pm.
