ASHLEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Everlasting Hope is North and South Dakota’s first and only non-profit that works with families dealing with infertility.
The organization works to raise funds and provide assistance for infertility patients while creating public awareness that infertility is a treatable medical condition and that the community as a whole benefits when these patients have access to medical care.
Tara Brandner is a fertility coach and works with the non-profit.
Earlier this year, Brandner had approached the legislature with a bill that would have increased the amount of insurance coverage offered for fertility treatments and would have extended coverage to cancer patients.
While the bill failed, Brandner says they continue to provide their services both in person and now through telehealth.
Brandner says they also have a grant that is open for applications through the end of July that will help offset medical expenses for families experiencing infertility.
She says she continues to share the importance of their cause from Ashley, ND with legislators at the state and federal level. You can get more information at raisingeverlastinghope.org.
