VALLEY CITY, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota High School Coaches Association announced its 2021 All-State soccer team on Tuesday, and Jamestown’s Haley Nelson earned All-State honors for the Blue Jays.

Nelson, who was also a member of the All-WDA Team, scored six goals and tallied nine total points during the regular season, the most on the Jamestown roster in both categories. The junior led Jamestown to a 6-6-3 overall record and a win over Bismarck Legacy 2-0 to move onto the state tournament.

Jamestown’s Breanna Oettle and Sara Sletto were both named to the All-WDA Team for the spring season, and head coach Brandi Harty was the Coach of the Year in the WDA. The Blue Jays went 5-4-3 during the WDA season in 2021.
