JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Longtime radio personality Ole Olson has died.
The North Dakota Broadcasters Association reports that Olson, known off-air as Norman Kidd, had a heart attack while driving which took his life suddenly.
Olson’s career spanned more than 50 years behind the microphone serving the Jamestown and surrounding communities. He was honored with the NDBA Pioneer Award in 2008 and was a recipient of the Merit Award from the ND High School Activities Association.
Olson retired from full-time radio on September 28th, 2012.
