REYNOLDS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 37 year-old Winnipeg, MB man received minor injuries after strong gusts of winds caused his empty tractor-trailer to overturn near Reynolds, ND early Friday morning.

The state highway patrol reports Brian Dueck was traveling south on I-29 3 miles north of Reynolds when a strong west wind cause the Freightliner semi to tip into the median on its driver side. The truck came to rest partially in the median and in the inside lane of the northbound lanes.

Dueck sustained minor injuries and was not transported for medical attention. The interstate remained open, but northbound traffic was reduced to one lane until the vehicle could be removed.
