JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A new business in Jamestown is filling a role and appetites in the community.

The Rolling Pin is a new home business that has been operating since February of this year. Matt & Robin Sheppard are relatively new to the community, but Robin says she immediately saw a need for a bakery in Jamestown.

Robin says she’s had this dream for years and after months of planning, they took their chance. Since opening, they’ve expanded their selection and availability with a new food truck.

While the Rolling Pin specializes in homemade baked items from their home, Robin says they have big plans for the future.

Matt has embraced the role of “taste tester”, but says he’s ultimately there to help Robin realize her goals.

With an array of cookies, breads, rolls, cakes, muffins, bars and specialty items, the Rolling Pin soon hopes to have a physical location and add on to their already growing menu.
