VENTURIA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 62 year-old man was victim of a fatal rollover east of Venturia Wednesday evening.

The state highway patrol reports a 2000 Chevy Blazer was traveling westbound on 98th St. SE east of Venturia around 7:30 PM when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Blazer entered the south ditch and rolled. The driver was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

The McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office and Ashley Fire Department responded to the scene. The man’s name is being withheld as the investigation continues.
