CARRINGTON, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Oakes was in action at the Class B State Golf Tournament at Crossroads Golf Course in Carrington yesterday against tough competition. A total of 18 teams and 127 total participants competed in the first round.

Marc Seyer leads the way for Oakes in Day 1 with +12 (84) which puts him in a tie for 44th. Conor Schall is three strokes back of Seyer for a +15 (87) which puts him in a tie for 60th. Andrew Hill is at +19 (91) placing him tied for 85th. Garret Meehl after performing well at the state track meet, shot +25 (97) and is tied for 103rd. Dalton Schmit shot +27 (99) which is tied for 111th and Dylan Harris shot +40 (112) placing him 126th.
