VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Bridges Arts Council is excited to announce the start of a new project, a mural located in City Park next to the scenic Sheyenne River in Valley City.

Spokesman Nick Lee said the renovated City Park bandshell is the home of the “Music in the Park” concert and that was the reason for the selection of the Valley City Parks and Recreation building in City Park as the site for the future mural. He said the east side of the building (the park side) of the building is where the mural will be located. It will feature some references to the historical aspects of the park.

Lee said there will be spots available to have your caricature included in the mural to help defray the cost of the project. Lee said spots need to be reserved and paid for by June 15th.
