GULF SHORES, Ala. (jimmiepride.com)– Jordynn Toliver (SO/Box Elder, S.D.) set new personal bests in three of Wednesday’s four events in the heptathlon at the 41st annual Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.

Competing at nationals for the first time, Toliver ran 15.79 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles, .75 seconds faster than her previous best time.

In the shot put, Toliver’s best mark was 9.55 meters, beating her previous best by .52 meters. She finished the 200 meter dash in a time of 26.72 seconds, 0.08 seconds faster than her earlier PR this season.

The heptathlon concludes on Thursday with the long jump, beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by the javelin and the 800 meter run.
