The Wolves set the tone early scoring four runs in the top of the second inning and handed the Loboes of LLM their first loss of the Region 3 tournament forcing a second championship game. Patrick Pechtel led the way for the KC Wolves going 4-for-4 at the plate, scoring once, and two RBI.
No. 1 Lamoure/LM 11 No. 3 Kidder County 2
In the second championship game and winner take all, the Loboes jumped out to an early 6-0 lead after one inning and never looked back. Landon Piehl and Dalton Madcke had two hits each and each knocked in one run, Anthony Hanson added a two RBI double and ended with three RBI.
LLM will advance to the State Class B High School Baseball tournament for the first time since 2008. The State B will be held Thursday-Saturday, June 3-5th, 2021 at Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown. Seedings and pairings will be announced Friday morning.

– Rick has coached baseball for 30 seasons, 29 on the field and 1 on Zoom. Rick stepped away from coaching this year because family always comes first. Rick had the idea to create this award for his good friend, Eric Hewitt, and there is not candidate more deserving than Rick.
