OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Over the past year, many people have seen a friend or loved one pass away due to COVID-19.

This can lead to grief and some not knowing how to cope with grief.  The Hospice of the Red River Valley will be holding a grief class for those ages 8 through 16.

Kriston Wenzel is a grief specialist with Hospice of the Red River Valley.

The first class for youth for the summer will be held on Thursday, June 3rd from 11:30am to 1pm and it will be held virtually.  It is free and open to the public.  Registration is due May 24th.  To get more information and to register, visit www.hrrv.org or call 800-237-4629.
