JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) has welcomed their newest ENT Dr. Steven Cox.
Dr. Cox grew up in Michigan, having completed medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Tennessee in 2020 and now brings his expertise to the region.
As an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) physician, Dr. Cox can offer care for a variety of issues including:
-hearing loss
-ear pain
-tonsil abscess
-epistaxis
-sinusitis
-sinus infection
-polyps
-obstruction
-drainage
-deviated septum
-allergic rhinitis
-ear drainage
Dr. Cox says he got his interest in becoming an ENT during his time in medical school.
Dr. Cox also has extensive experience with children, including St. Jude Children’s Hospital. This has allowed him to focus his skills to especially help a variety of complications a child may be having.
When the new ENT at JRMC isn’t working, Dr. Cox enjoys biking, running, traveling, college sports and spending time with his wife and their infant son.
Dr. Cox joins the comprehensive speech and hearing team at JRMC, which includes Audiologist Marissa M. Leese, AuD; and Speech Therapist Lauren Burningham.
