CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington City Library reported a very successful preschool art show near the end of April.

Carrington City Library Director Michelle Seil reports the show on April 29th had a lot of viewers over the week.

Seil says the show also featured art from the kids work with the Artists in Residence.

In other Carrington City Library news, Seil says they’re preparing for the summer reading program. All of the information will be provided on their website at carringtonlibrary.org.

Some activities include preschool story time, arts and crafts, STEM projects, movies and munchies on Mondays, and even yoga every Tuesday in June at the Courthouse Park.

Seil says also says a grant provided by the American Library Association will allow them to host a conversation on Veterans issues in the city.

The public will be invited to join them for a discussion after planning is completed.

Seil says they’re also seeking volunteers for some painting projects at the library.

Those interested in volunteering can join them at the Carrington City Library at 9 AM today, Friday, May 14th to help paint and do the needed work.
