JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota 2021 Scheels Softball All-Stars were announced on Wednesday, and Jamestown seniors Ella Roaldson and Payton Gall earned All-Star nominations for the Jays.
A total of 26 senior athletes were selected from both Class A and B to represent the East and the West for North Dakota in 2021. The All-Star series will take place on June 7th in Bismarck for a doubleheader and June 8th in Castelton.
Roaldson and Gall have helped lead Jamestown to a 15-5 overall record and an 11-3 mark in conference play, good for third place currently in the WDA. Roaldson is currently hitting .563 with four home runs and 32 runs driven in. Gall has brought in 16 runs at the plate this season and has struck out 44 batters in the circle.
The Jays travel to West Fargo Sheyenne on Friday for a non-conference matchup before returning to Trapper Field Saturday for a doubleheader against Minot.
