CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington Public School Finance Committee has been exploring COVID-19 relief funds and ESSER funding moving forward in the school district.
Carrington Superintendent Kris Kuehn says recently the committee met to discuss the last information surrounding both funding tools.
At this time, most discussions are preliminary and nothing is set moving forward yet.
In the transportation committee, Kuehn says they’re focused on purchasing some new school busses for the school district.
Kuehn says the board moved to purchase one school bus and trade a 2015 international bus for $8,500. He says getting new busses is a priority for the district at this time.
