JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An annual 5K run/walk and 10K run will make it’s return to a live, in-person event while adding on the virtual aspect they embraced in 2020.

The 14th Annual Running of the Pink is put on annually to raise money for area individuals in need of breast and cervical cancer screenings. RM Stoudt teamed up with the Jamestown Regional Medical Center and Central Valley Health for the “No Excuses” program.

Tara Kapp is an organizer for the annual run.

In the last 13 years, the event has raised thousands of dollars to fund the program. Kapp says with COVID-19, they moved to a hybrid event in 2020. Because of its success, they decided to keep the virtual option open for those who couldn’t come to the live event or wanted to show support.

The run will begin at the dealership on June 5th.

Kapp says early bird registration ends May 15th and the cost to register will go up after that leading up to the event. The cost for the 5K Walk is $20 and goes to $25 after the 15th. Registration is open and can be found on stoudtcars.com.
