LANGDON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Carrington Cardinals track team traveled to Langdon on Thursday for the Langdon Invitational track meet. The girls take home first place with 138.33 points, the boys finish in third with 90.5 points, Grafton boys take first with 164 points. Sophomore Allison Jarrett for the Cardinals finished in first place and qualified for state in the Pole Vault with a jump of 9’0″. Here are the other first place finishers for Carrington:
800 Meters boys – Junior Jacob Rexin, 1st, 2:11.9
100m Hurdles girls – Sophomore Haley Wolsky, 1st, 16.8
4×400 Relay boys – Logan Weninger, Jaxon Schaefer, Cade Lura, Jacob Rexin, 1st, 3:50.3
Discus boys – Senior Beau Retzlaff, 1st, 126’2
Next up for Carrington will be the Carrington track meet on Saturday.
