JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Rob Lech says they’re to work through the various components of graduation planning.
“While we do not know exactly what the future may hold in terms of limitations, we are currently planning based on existing capacity limitations of 75%,” Dr. Lech says in his latest report.
GED Graduation is set for Tuesday, May 18th at 7 PM at the Career and Technology Center. High School Graduation will be Sunday, May 30th at 2:30 PM in the Jamestown Civic Center.
In other school news, serial COVID-19 testing will be discontinued as staff take advantage of vaccination opportunities.
“In the last few weeks, those numbers have been between 0-5 including those individuals doing the testing,” Dr. Lech reports. “We will continue to keep tests on site to use if necessary.”
The schools are also in the process of building a budget for the ESSER II and III funds. It’s anticipated the budget will be ready for board approval in May.
