VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com/VCHS Speech) – The Communication Speech and Theater Association of North Dakota has announced their 2021 All-State Team for Speech, Student Congress, and Debate.
In order to qualify for award students have to meet qualification criteria laid out by the CSTAND organization. Students must earn “4 legs” to qualify for the award. Students can earn up to 2 legs for student congress by being named a Superior Speaker or Presiding Officer at an invitational and by being named a superior speaker or presiding officer at the State Student Congress Tournament. Students can earn up to 4 legs in speech by placing in the top 20% of their events (up to 4). Our school does not offer debate as an activity.
