JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Classic Car Club and 1st Class Aviation have teamed up for a hybrid show and shine on May 1st.

Altitude & Attitude will be a fly-in/drive-in community event with classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, planes, and more on display.

Larry Gilge says the event will all center on fundraising for the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). CAP is a volunteer organization with an aviation-minded membership that includes people from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations.

Gilge added they’ll have food, music, and more to raise money for the CAP, while featuring something for car and plane enthusiasts.

First Class Aviation will also be offering cash prizes and trophies for best single engine airplane, best multi engine airplane, and best in show as voted on by the attendees.

Not to be left out, Brian Kamlitz says they’ll also bring out a Hot Wheels drag race track for the kids.

Gilge added that this is a first ever event, but they hope it builds towards an annual thing.

Kamlitz supported that.

The event will also feature 2 planes and instructors for anyone who wants to do an introductory flight lesson.
