VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 9-year-old Lincoln Berg of Valley City and Lewie Legge spent the day cleaning up four miles of trash in ditches along Old Highway 10 in Barnes County on Saturday, April 10th.

Berg was asked if there was anything he wanted people to know. He said, “Please just keep your trash in your vehicle until you get home and then take it inside and throw it away, its pretty easy and keeps trash out of the ditches.”

Berg’s partner, Lewie Legge said a majority of the trash was recyclable items.
