JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the Customer Service Award for April to Deb Lee for her outstanding customer service.

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

Her nomination said:

“I was finishing up my shopping at the Dakota Store and had my toddler in tow. He was determined to destroy the store and I was really flustered and embarrassed as I chased him around in circles picking up items he had thrown on the floor and knocked over. Deb asked if it was okay to read him a book in the back and my answer was an overwhelming YES. She was so sweet with him for the 5 mins I needed to finish my shopping and checkout. I really appreciated her help as I was about to give up and come back another day. The support I felt as an exhausted parent in that moment really meant a lot to me.”
