VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A bicyclist struck the side of a pickup in the 900 block of Central Avenue north in Valley City around 4:37pm on April 5th.

Police Chief Phil Hatcher said the 26 year-old female bicyclist was leaving the Sheyenne Care Center parking lot and ran into the side of a southbound pickup driven by a 58 year-old Valley City man.

The bicyclist was wearing a helmet but suffered non-life threatening injuries and required a transport to Mercy Hospital by the Barnes County Ambulance.
