JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A new month brings new outdoor opportunities in North Dakota.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier reports that the Spring snow goose migration continues as the flocks push north.
Leier adds that as we enter April, it’s a reminder that the Spring Turkey season is scheduled to begin April 10th. He adds preparing for that and getting your renewed fishing license should be at the top of the list.
Leier urged that outdoor enthusiast also keep in mind the high danger wildfire potential.
Game & Fish will also be holding Game Warden testing later this year and the department is also starting their assessment of post winter mule deer population in the badlands.
