JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is beginning to return to some normal operations this year.

Assistant Police Chief Major Justin Blinsky informed the Jamestown Police & Fire Committee that the department was starting to get busy with the return of district court jury trials.

Major Blinsky says as it gets warmer, they’ll also look to begin issuing junk notices in the city.

Later, Blinsky informed the committee that they were beginning to see a rise in suspicious activity calls.

Major Blinsky says they’re also prepared for the Runnin’ O the Green, which is set to be held April 17th.
