JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Construction is scheduled to begin Thursday on North Dakota Highway 52 from 8th Avenue Northwest to 8th Street South in Jamestown.
This project consists of replacing temporary pavement markings, and various improvements to ADA curb ramps, sidewalks, signals, signing and lighting. Public Information Specialist David Finley reports that re-painting the lines will begin Thursday and take place for the next two days.
Beginning April 6th, Finley says construction will start on the Road Diet which includes removal of stoplights, curb ramps, and more. The project is estimated to have a completion date in Mid-September.
Traffic will be delayed at times during the project. The NDDOT would like to remind motorists to slow down and use caution throughout the work zone.
