JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Local Boy Scout Troops recently participated in Scouting For Food in Jamestown, collecting food to be donated to local food pantries in Jamestown.
Troop 163 Scout Master Aaron Motter reports that his troop collected 367 pounds of food, which were donated to the Jamestown Salvation Army.
Cub Scouts Pack 139 and Boy Scout Troop 5555 also collected and donated food, but totals were not available.
“Thank you,” the Salvation Army stated. “The food that was collected will bless families and individuals in Stutsman County.”
