(NAFB) – The winter is a busy time for agricultural land sales.

Randy Dickhut is the Senior Vice President of Real Estate Operations with Farmers National Company. He says it’s a sellers’ market right now.

Another reason it’s a sellers’ market is there isn’t as much land available for purchase.

COVID-19 is a big part of the reason for less available land for sale.

Farmers National is anticipating more land sales later in 2021.

Farmers are getting more aggressive in their purchases because they anticipate land values going up soon.
