Miska, a right hander out of Pequot Lakes, has been dominant in the circle throughout the course of the season for UJ. She went 2-0 this past week, including a complete game victory of #2 University of Science and Arts last Thursday. The ace of the pitching staff for the Jimmies has broken the single game strikeout record twice this season, and holds a 6-1 overall record with a .48 ERA. The Jamestown softball team is 15-5 this season and begin conference play on Saturday in Orange City against Northwestern.

For Fitz, the senior had a complete game three-hit shutout in the 4-0 win for Jamestown over Northwestern this past weekend. A right hander out of Oregon, Fitz struck out 11 in the victory for the Jimmies and improved his overall record to 3-0 on the season with a 2.63 ERA. More impressive for Fitz, he has nearly an 11:1 strikeout to walk ratio this year, allowing just three free passes throughout 27 innings pitched.  The Jimmies will play four games against Hastings on the road to open up GPAC play this weekend.
