burn-ban-8

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A burn ban is in effect for Barnes County until March 26th. The ban includes the burning of leaves, grass clippings, garbage pits, construction debris, fallen trees as well as crop residue, sloughs, campfires and bonfires.

Barnes County Emergency Manager Sue Lloyd said residents can use grills and fire pits so long as there is an adult present and monitoring them and the adult ensures the fire pit and grill are completely extinguished when done using them.
The Barnes County burn ban will be reviewed again on March 26th.
