JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Businesses and non-profits have struggled mightily for the past year, Alpha Opportunities Inc. included.

Community Outreach Coordinator Casie Hardin says they’ve had to adjust their operations amid the ongoing pandemic.

Hardin says a fundraiser they came up with and used for the local Relay for Life will make a return this year to help them raise money for their organization.

Now, Alpha Opportunities is causing a “stink” in the community with their Skunk fundraiser.

Hardin says businesses that have been “skunked” can then donate $20 to have their “Extraction Team” pick the skunk up and give it to another business. For $10, the business that was skunked can learn who sent them the skunk. For $30, a business can “purchase” skunk insurance to make sure they’re not skunked again.

The fundraiser will continue through the end of April, with all proceeds benefitting Alpha Opportunities Inc. For more information, contact Casie Hardin at 701-252-0162 ext. 103. You can also follow Alpha Opportunities Inc. on Facebook and Instagram.
