Crews re-stripe Main Street in Jamestown in 2020
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown is reporting that re-striping of Main Street in Jamestown is planned for April.
In a release, the city states that the main street project is a North Dakota Department of Transportation project and not a city project.
“The City of Jamestown was given word that the contractor that is working with the NDDOT on this project plans to re-stripe Main Avenue in April,” the city states. “As of Fall of 2020, Main Avenue is now a two-lane road with turning lanes in the center. Please use caution while driving on Main Street until this project is complete.”
The project will also remove all but one set of stoplights at the 3rd St. intersection and install bump outs at each intersection.
