JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays winter sports athletes have excelled in the classroom this past semester, earning an overall 3.551 GPA.
Winter sports athletes just surpassed the total set by fall athletes, who came in with a 3.536 overall GPA. Every sport for Jamestown has now qualified for the NDHSAA Team Scholar Award, which requires a GPA higher than 3.2 as a team.
In 2019-20, Jamestown was the only school in the WDA to win the scholar award for every single sport. Blue Jay hockey was the only hockey program to make the list with a team GPA at 3.22.
