VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hefty Seed has a new facility located west of Valley City and east of Sanborn.
The new Hefty Seed facility has a top-of-the-line seed treater. The building is around 30-thousand square feet. They employ 5 people and plan to add more depending on future growth. Sales Agronomist Kody Amann said it looks like it will be a much better spring for planting this year compared to last year. Sales Agronomist Chantel Mertz said Hefty Seed will hold an open house at their new location March 8-12 to coincide with the 84th Annual North Dakota Winter Show.
