JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Tourism Executive Director Searle Swedlund says their annual meeting has given his team a direct path to move forward.
During the Executive Board Meeting, Swedlund says the overall message for Tourism was focusing on fundraising.
Swedlund says they would hope to tap into external funds to help match what is raised locally and approved through the city.
He added that the city appears to remain “open” on future projects through Jamestown Tourism. He cited the current pandemic and other city issues for not allowing them to progress the way they’d hope in some areas.
Swedlund also provided a small update on Buffalo City Park, stating that there was optimism with the future of the project.
He says the most important thing residents can do is remain positive and supportive of the project.
