JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jay hockey team scored two goals in thirteen seconds in the third period to force overtime but were unable to take down Dickinson as the Midgets ended up victorious 3-2.

The Midgets move on to a state qualifier game at 10 am on Saturday in Minot. Dickinson will be taking on Williston to determine who heads to state.
Jamestown finishes the year at 13-5 overall, and Nolan Nenow led the Blue Jays and the state in goals with 24. Jace Thompson finishes as the team’s leader in points at 39.
