JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Rotary Club has teamed up to help assist the Stutsman County Parks Department with ADA benches in some areas.
County Park Superintendent Karl Bergh says he’s been in contact with the club as they’ve looked at bench placement and ADA compliance.
More information will become available later on the project.
Bergh later informed the County Park Board of an opportunity with the Jamestown City Forrester in regards to a possible intern program.
Bergh says doing inventory of the trees would give the trees value, making them worth money if they were ever lost to a natural disaster or wanted to apply for any future forestry grants.
