VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Bridges Arts Council and VCBC Public Library will present their second virtual concert on February 20th featuring local artist Joe DeMasi. The concert will be livestreamed on the Valley City Barnes County Public Library Facebook page at 2pm Saturday, February 20th.
Joe DeMasi is an award-winning professional musician who will be presenting a musical tribute to the great American song book. “I heard so many of these songs by people like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett being listened to by my parents when I was growing up. They are great songs and I am happy to be able to share them with so many of my friends here in Valley City and around the country and even the world because the show is being live streamed! I miss so many of my friends at the Sheyenne Care Center, the Legacy Place and Bridgeview. I used to perform there on a regular basis but have not been able to because of the COVID pandemic. This is a way to bring my music to them in a safe and comfortable setting. Anyone can watch the Concert Live or watch it whenever they want in the future on You Tube. It is going to be so much fun and I am really looking forward to it”!
All that is required to view the concert is a screen and access to the internet. The concerts will be streamed live via the Library’s Facebook page, and then made available on the Library’s YouTube channel, so please follow the library on Facebook and subscribe to the Library’s YouTube channel.
