SANBORN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Sanborn continues to ask Sanborn residents to limit their water usage until further notice as crews plan to repair a water leak that has persisted since Thursday, February 11th.

City spokeswoman Julie Franklin said the city will completely shut the water off on Thursday, February 18th starting at 8am so crews can repair the water leak in Sanborn. She said the repair work will take several hours to complete or more than 24 hours. So plan ahead and store water or obtain water for your needs from a different source until the repair is completed.

Franklin said residents should refrain from showering and washing clothes until further notice. Your cooperation and patience are greatly appreciated.
