JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown men’s volleyball team took home all three GPAC weekly awards following their 2-0 performance this past week.

Outside attacker Zack Meyer, a junior from Wheaton, Illinois leads the Jimmies with 26 kills and hit .512 percent. Which help propel Jamestown past two conference opponents last week. He had one error against Morningside in a 3-0 victory and had 17 of those 26 kills against No. 15 Ottawa.

Setter Derek Correa took home setter of the week, the freshman from Puerto Rico led the Jimmies with 26 assists against the No. 15 Ottawa University. He also averaged 6.4 assists per set combined in the two victories last week.

Defender Austin Jacob another freshman on this Jamestown team was awarded defender of the week. Jacob reigns from Houston, Texas had 9 total blocks for the Jimmies in their two victories. He ranks  12 overall in the NAIA in blocks per set.
