JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hillcrest Elementary has been operating as a Christian-based education institution in Jamestown since 1967.
Parent Brenda Jarski-Weber was a student at the long-running elementary school. The school provides a unique setting with two teachers in two classrooms split between grades 1 through 4 and 5 through 8.
The preview day, set for Friday, February 12th, will allow parents and students to view the classroom layout and ask questions about the school and curriculum.
Jarski-Weber says their teachers also try to incorporate more life skills in their classes, referring to what their newest teacher has been implementing recently in the upper classes.
She added that they also encourage their students to give back to their community, giving an example that occurred late last year with their lower class students.
The preview day will be held from 8 AM to 12 PM at Hillcrest School in Jamestown. If interested, you can call 701-252-5409 or email info@hillcrestnd.org.
